Leadership Team
David Cameron
President
David Cameron has spent his entire education and career in chemistry and in particular the interface of chemistry with respect to biology. This was initially through the optimisation of formulations using surfactants and rheology agents, but for the last 30 years or so, via the improvement of plant protection and nutritional spray applications using novel tank-mix adjuvants based on the latest developments in surfactant and polymer chemistry. Together with his colleagues, he successfully introduced new adjuvant technologies to over 20 countries in Europe as well as many non-EU countries.

Brad Fritz
Board Member
Dr. Brad Fritz is an agricultural engineer and serves as the Research Leader of the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Aerial Application Technology Research Unit in College Station, Texas. His areas of research include spray drift measurement and mitigation, the impact of application technologies on spray atomization, and optimization of application technologies and methods to enhance on target deposition while mitigating off target impact. He is currently an active member of a number of professional organizations including the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, ASTM E35, the American Mosquito Control Association, and the National Agricultural Aviation Association.
Per Kudsk
Board Member
Per Kudsk is a native of Denmark. Today, he is Professor at the Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University in Denmark. He has done research on various aspects of weed management but recently he has become increasingly involved in research activities focusing on Integrated Pest Management. He has coordinated and been partner in several national and international research projects in the EU, Africa and South America. He coordinated the EU H2020 project IWMPRAISE with 36 partners. He has served as President of the European Weed Research Society from 2008 to 2009. In 2014, he was appointed Honorary Member of the Weed Science Society of America. He is regularly involved in research based policy support on IPM and other crop protection issues. He is a member of the European Plant Protection Council (EPPO) Working Party on Plant Protection. He has authored or co-authored ca. 120 papers published in peer-reviewed articles and as book chapters of which many deals with IPM related issues. He is editor of the book ‘advances in Integrated Weed Management’ and co-editor of the book ‘Herbicide Bioassays’. He has been an invited speaker at many international conferences, published more than 90 conference presentations and has authored or co-authored more than 200 papers in Danish.
Peter Westbye
Board Member
Peter Westbye has been involved in the board of ISAA since 2016, first as a CSO, being responsible for the technical program for the conference in Bordeaux 2022, and after that as a board member. During the years, he has also been engaged as a board member in the Swedish Chemical Society -Division of Material and Surface Chemistry for more than 5 years. Material Science has always been an interest, and especially soft matter and this has led him to his education, a Ph. D. in physical chemistry.
Working within the Industry has always been his goal, since it involves solving real life problems and understanding the need and trends in society; hence, he has also had an interest in innovation, where he amongst others, engaged to be trained as an integrated roadmap facilitator. Over his 16 years with Nouryon, he has been fortunate to work towards several application areas to tailor the properties of liquids and surfaces which these liquids are in contact with. Agriculture has always been a favorite area since it involves many disciplines, such as chemistry, physics, and biology.
Also, he likes the scientific level of agricultural application and personally thinks that ISAA is the stellar conference in combining science and agriculture. This in combination with the people visiting the conference has been his drive to engage in ISAA, and he looks forward to meeting you in Rio 2025!
